meet their needs and demands, whether standard or tailor made, are not only crucial to a good relationship but also for the development of effective packaging.
The new nestable drum is a good example of a project CurTec ran together with a customer to solve a specific packaging problem.
With the nestable drum, CurTec has made an important contribution to the optimisation process of logistics at Merck Sharpe & Dohme worldwide.
Nestable packaging has become increasingly popular because a lot of companies don't want to lose anymore valuable space to empty packaging, during transport and storage.
Saving space can be of the utmost importance but other important packaging requirements have led to the development of new nestable packaging concepts.
The blow-moulded drum distinguishes itself through its nestability which saves space during transport and storage and leads to higher return on investment.
The remarkable thing about this development is that an optimal proportion has been achieved between nestability and capacity ratio. The nestable drum has a screw lid closure, is water and water vapour tight, can be made tamper |

evident and is available in 30, 40 and 50 litre capacity.
These drums are not tthe only nestable concept in CurTec's packaging range
Smaller and larger capacities are available with other closing systems such as Kiuso and Click Pack or different shapes such as lidded crates with a UN marking.
