Biodegradable Packaging Materials.
At present, the two patent applications have both obtained acceptance numbers, 200810064592 and 200810064593.2. As the core technologies, these two techniques will ensure the leading position of CGMT in Chinese starch-based fully biodegradable packaging industry. Great breakthroughs have been made in 2008, especially in the fields of process improvement and the R&D of new products. The Company's products have passed the low-temperature test by Chinese authorities.

leakage-proof, which makes these products the only environment-friendly package supplier in China . The injection molding products with 80% starch content developed by CGMT Scientific Research Center came out. While filling up a gap in the domestic market, the products have aroused extensive attention from clients both at home and abroad.
The Company also developed the products with 92% starch content. With fine thermo-plasticity, the new material can be processed by extrusion, positive pressure, negative pressure, absorbing molding, injection molding, and blow molding, etc. The sheet material is delicate and smooth in nature and suitable for printing. Its degradation performance and the sanitation standard accord with EU 13432 Standard and National Standard of GB 18006 1-1999.

-ated with authoritative experts to study on the fully degradable packaging materials. CGMT has established an institute of brand-new fully degradable material, with Mr. QIAO Yingjie, expert on composite material, professor and tutor of postgraduate candidates of Materials Science at Institute of Chemical Technology of Harbin Engineering University, as the leader of the research team.
Because of his outstanding achievement in the scientific research, QIAO Yingjie was elected as an Olympic Torchbearer. At present, the R&D experts of CGMT are developing new technologies and new products in order to lay a solid foundation for the future.
